Search is on for a new ChairTuesday 12 Feb 2019
Our Chair, Ann Evans, is stepping down in September after four successful years at the helm of Wales’ independent exams regulator, and the search is now on for her successor.
Education in Wales is undergoing a major transformation with a new curriculum to be introduced for first teaching in 2022 and a programme of qualification reform across key industry sectors.
The Minister for Education is looking for someone driven by excellence, with a strong track record of inspiring staff and stakeholders.
Our Chair will have an inclusive and collaborative approach, working in partnership with people both within and outside our organisation. They will possess an exceptional ability to communicate, including handling the media and wider public audiences, and building relationships at all levels.
The closing date for applications is 11 March. For a full description of the role and how to apply, click here.
