Introducing GCSE Welsh Second Language
Thank you to all of you who attended our twilight sessions on the reformed GCSE Welsh Second Language qualification. We were delighted with the turn-out at all venues and we appreciate the time you took to find out more, share your opinions and raise issues that are important to you.
We will be sharing questions and answers from the sessions with you very soon but, in the meantime, the bilingual PowerPoint presentation used is available here.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to raise them with us at email@example.com, WJEC, Welsh Government or your Regional Consortium.
Overview of the events
Qualifications Wales is hosting a series of free regional meetings to support the implementation of the reformed Welsh Second Language GCSE in September 2017. These meetings offer subject teachers and school leaders a chance to discuss the changes to the subject with representatives from Welsh Government, WJEC, the Regional Consortia and Qualifications Wales. The aim of the events is to give schools a better understanding of the changes and their implications so that they can plan more effectively for September 2017.
Each event will be interactive, with plenty of opportunities for attendees to ask questions and discuss the changes.
